SERVICES | The Work we put our name on.

Here's what we do. Every project gets the same care, the same prep, and the same lifetime warranty.

Custom Tile Showers

Walk-ins. Curbless builds. Heated benches. LED niches. Built on perfectly-prepped walls that hold for decades.

Every custom shower starts with the foam system — color-coded shims plus a laser to get every wall dead-flat and plumb before backer board touches it. This is the prep work most contractors skip, and it's the reason their showers fail at year 5 while ours still look new at year 25.

From there it's whatever you can dream up: large-format porcelain, herringbone patterns, full mosaic feature walls, heated benches with thermostats, LED-lit niches, curbless walk-ins, custom glass doors. We work with Redmon's in McMinnville for materials — their on-site designer can help you pick everything if you want a guide.

Bathroom Remodels

Take a tired, outdated bathroom and turn it into the favorite room in the house. Demo to final grout, handled by us.

A full bathroom remodel is where shortcuts come back to haunt you. That's why we handle the entire project ourselves — tile, plumbing fixtures, vanities, lighting, sheetrock, baseboards, glass doors. No subcontractors. No mystery hands.

Every remodel starts with a real conversation about what you want and an honest on-site quote. From there, plastic dust barriers keep the rest of your house clean, drop cloths protect every floor we cross, and we work cleanly with daily updates if you want them. We don't leave until you're 100% happy with the result.

Tub-to-Shower Conversions

Pull that old unused tub. Reclaim the space. Install the walk-in shower you'll actually love.

Most tubs in older McMinnville & Middle, TN homes get used maybe twice a year — but they take up some of the most valuable square footage in your bathroom. A tub-to-shower conversion frees up that space and turns it into something you'll use every single day.

Whether you want a luxury walk-in with a rain head and built-in bench, or an accessible build with grab bars and a curbless entry, we've got you. For aging-in-place needs, we can design a shower that's safe and easy to use without looking clinical — properly anchored grab bars, slip-resistant tile, wider entries, even ADA-friendly layouts that just look like a beautiful modern shower.

Tile Flooring

Bathrooms, kitchens, foyers, mudrooms — tile floors that stay flat, stay tight, and outlast everything around them.

The trick to a great tile floor isn't picking the tile. The trick is what's underneath it. We use self-leveling underlayment whenever the subfloor needs it — and on remodels, it almost always does. Skipping that step is the #1 reason tile floors crack and grout lines fail within a few years.

You've got options across the board: porcelain, ceramic, natural stone, marble, large-format planks, herringbone patterns. We'll guide you to what fits your space, your budget, and your maintenance comfort level. Want a heated tile floor? We install electric heated systems paired with thermostats — wake up to warm tile under your feet in February.

Specialty Tile Work

Fireplaces, outdoor patios, custom mosaics, tub surrounds, accent walls. The unusual stuff. The fun stuff.

Some projects don't fit a neat category — and those are often our favorites. Fireplace surrounds are one of them. There's nothing like watching a builder-grade brick fireplace transform into a floor-to-ceiling tile feature wall with a custom hearth.

Outdoor tile patios are another. Porches, covered patios, outdoor entertaining spaces — done with frost-rated tile, slip-resistant finishes, and proper slope for drainage so they hold up through Tennessee freezes and thaws. We also do tub surrounds, custom mosaic installations, bar tops, accent walls anywhere in the home, and one-of-a-kind work that doesn't fit a neat label.

Got a project that doesn't fit a typical box? Call us. The weird stuff is where the fun is.

—— The O'Neal Difference

The Foam System. Why our showers last.

Most contractors put backer board up on whatever wall is already there — crooked, out of plumb, doesn't matter. That's why you see tile lippage, hollow spots, and wavy walls in showers within 5 years.

We use the Built-with-Foam leveling system — color-coded foam shims paired with a laser to make every wall perfectly flat and plumb before backer board ever goes up. Then we waterproof every wall and pan with Schluter Kerdi-Board so water can't reach the wood behind the tile. It's two extra steps most local contractors won't bother with. It takes more time. It's the reason our showers, backsplashes, and floors still look perfect 20 years from now.

This is the prep work most homeowners never see. But it's the work that determines whether your tile still looks beautiful in two decades, or whether you're hiring someone to redo it in five years.
